We are very happy that we are the winner of an ACSI Award!
We are real dog lovers and our dogs should always go with us on holiday. We notice that it is often difficult to find a campsite where dogs are welcome and can stay for a reasonable price.
Therefore, your dog is most welcome at Ballum Camping (maximum 2 dogs per pitch, more dogs on request). Also in the cabins you can bring your dog (maximum 1 dog).
Around the campsite are plenty of hiking opportunities. At walking distance from the campsite there are several trails. And the Waddensea is also nearby.
On the campsite is a fenced area where your dog can run freely and where you and other dogs can play with your dog. Your can walk your dog outside the campsite.
In Danmark there are 400 dogforest areas where you can walk your dog without leash. From October 1 to April 1, your dog can also run loose on the beaches.
At the campsite your dog has to be leashed, at your pitch your dog may be loose. The following applies, of course, that your dog will not bother other guests and dogs and that you are at all times responsible for your dog. If your dog barks a lot, does not get along with other dogs and/or is not social with guests and children, consider whether you will take your dog to the campsite.
To let the dogs also have a relaxing holiday, we expect that female dogs are not or will not be in heat during their stay at the campsite.
Basically, all breeds are welcome, except those breeds (and crossbreeds from these varieties) that are anyway prohibited in Denmark: Pitbull terriër, Tosa Inu, American Staffordshire Terriër, Fila Brasileiro, Dogo Argentino, American Bulldog, Boerboel, Kangal, Centraal-Aziatische Ovtcharka, Zuid-Russische Ovtcharka, Kaukasische Ovtcharka, Sarplaninac, Tornjak.
